The Death of Poultry series
We hold funerals and set up tombstones for our deceased relatives, friends and even pets to commemorate them. One of the reasons is they have had an important meaning in our lives. But, what about the poultry that we have eaten and passed away? They appear in our lives every day and sustain the continuation of our lives. Are they not important to us? Ironically, we are accustomed to treating them as meat rather than life. On one hand, our behaviour is bound by moral ethics. On the other hand, we have to abandon some moral rituals in order to survive. This project uses graveyard and burial as carriers to express my thoughts on human nature and life.
